Local owners and husband and wife team Fred and Christine Verbeke  of Chocolade Van Brugge, the exclusive chocolatier in North America to import handcrafted chocolates are hosting their first annual Valentine’s Day chocolate lover’s event  “Is it true a piece of chocolate can help you fall in love?”  Join us Wednesday, February 12, from 5:30pm to 7:00pm to learn complimentary love tips from Elisabeth Davies, M.C. relationship coach, as she demystifies how love and chocolate ignite romance in time for Valentine’s Day. Davies will also share tips for great relationships and ideas and tips for singles looking for cupid to strike.

A portion of the evenings proceeds will be donated to the Anthony Bates Foundation, Anthony Bates, a former  Phoenix Mountain Pointe High School and Phoenix Community College athlete, died in 2000 following a routine morning workout with the Kansas State University football team. After his death, he was found to have had a  detectable, enlarged heart, a health condition for which he was never screened. The foundation was created in  2002 to help prevent other parents from experiencing a similar tragedy. According to the founder and Anthony’s mother Sharon Bates, “Personally I haven’t had time for a relationship, but I love my relationship with chocolate,  she continues, this is a fabulous idea and the Anthony Bates Foundation would love to be involved in this event to support the love of chocolate, hearts & people.”

Chocolade Van Brugge is conveniently located at: 4225 N Marshall Way, Suite 102, Scottsdale, Arizona, with complimentary parking.

Owners Fred and Christine have a true chocolate love story, the first time Christine flew to Fred’s hometown Brugge, Fred greeted Christine with a box of Belgian chocolates at the airport, and as they say the rest is history! Chocolade van Brugge has been a labor of love for the couple Frederiek and Christine Verbeke, who longed to bring the unparalleled taste of Belgian chocolate and the unique traditions of Fred’s hometown of Bruges, Belgium to downtown Scottsdale.
Make your Chocolade Van Brugge your Valentine’s Day headquarters.
